    Chutney

    What is Chutney ?

    Chutney or Chatni originated in India. Chutney, derived from the hindi word chatna, to lick. True to its name, chutneys are a lip smacking condiment that can be used in multitude ways.

    South Indian chutneys are a side to many breakfast dishes like idli, dosa and upma. They are generally spicy and tangy.
